I’m Everly’s mom Melissa! What a long journey it’s been. She was diagnosed with congenital cataracts by her pediatrician at 3 months and we were sent to U of M. She had her 1st surgery to remove her cataracts and replace them with IOL lenses at 11 months. She was 1 when she got her 1st pair of glasses. She is six now and doing wonderful! She has had 5 total surgeries, patching, 2 pairs glasses, eye drops and all that fun stuff but she is a fighter! She was wearing her Batgirl outfit because it was my birthday and I love Batman. Needless to say it was the best birthday ever!!! Thanks so much for sending your love and kind words.
