She is outfitted with top class equipment and is capable of deploying up to sixteen 8000- metre long solid streamers, which are fully steerable using DigFiN technology. The vessel has an overall length of 108 metres and is 28 metres wide at the stern. The ship is of St design and is the 5th ship delivered from Fosen to Volstad Maritime. The vessel has been chartered by Fugro- Geoteam . Noryards AS also specialize in the RoPax/ Cruise vessels and the Geo Caspian has been outfitted to the same standard . Some of the cabins are close to Hurtigruten (Norwegian costal cruise ferry service ) standards.
